Alternatives to....
AMAZON - Ebay (It's not perfect but HEY it's got the same variety of goods, and you're not supporting Bezos)
AUDIBLE - Hoopla or Overdrive (These both pair with your local library to provide audiobooks, videos, ebooks, and other digital resources for free!! FREE!!)
NEW ELECTRONICS - Back Market (Repaired and restored electronics that work like new and are a fraction of the cost)
HULU, DISNEY+, NETFLIX - Hurawatch (Free streaming service that snags shows from the other services - pair this one with adblock for a Superior Viewing Experience)
MICROSOFT OFFICE - LibreOffice (Free, open source versions of all the standard office suite stuff!)
SPOTIFY - Bandcamp (Currently the best-paying major platform for musicians - if you're gonna drop $15/month why not directly support your favorite artist AND get the MP3 files?) or Freegal (Another library-paired service! Offers 3 hours music streaming and 5 MP3 downloads per week, for free!!!)
CHROME - Firefox (Main focus is on privacy - has lots of nice add-ons to limit tracking and advertising)
NEW CLOTHING / HOUSEHOLD GOODS - Thrift stores! (Local ones tend to be less expensive than the Big Chains, but any of 'em work! Reduce/reuse/recycle baybee!!!)
GROCERIES - Community Supported Agriculture! (You pay a set amount at the start of the season, and each week you get a box of fresh, local veggies! Some places also provide fruit, meat, eggs, milk, etc.)
PHOTOSHOP - Firealpaca (Comes with brushes, built-in tools for comic book illustration and basic animation, and is Completely Free!)
GOOGLE - DuckDuckGo (A little less robust; but it'll get you where you need to go, doesn't track you, and the first page isn't All Adverts)
